Frequently Asked Questions

Within 5 business days, you will receive an email from Amtrav asking you to book your flight. That indicates that we have received your form and processed it.

The Bookings team will book your hotel and send you the confirmation emails after.

If it is regarding anything to do with hotel, lyft or PEX card use the Support Signal Chat!

The form to request Lyft rides will be sent to your email 1 week prior to the trip. The sooner you fill out the request, the sooner you will get a link. At the latest, links will be provided at least 48 hours before the Lyfts are needed

For flights, go to Amtrav and use the Help Chat that is available 24/7 on their platform.

For in-person meals only. You cannot use this card on apps or websites, you must pay in person. It will work at most restaurants, gas stations, or grocery stores. Keep in mind that we will be collecting receipts, so please be mindful of what you buy!

Lyfts
Lyfts are available to sponsored volunteers for rides needed as part of their trip.
Sponsored Lyft rides may be used for:
Home to the airport
Airport to the state team hotel
Hotel to the airport
Airport to home
How to Request a Lyft
The week of your trip, Sponsorship team will send a Lyft request form.
Please complete the Lyft request form as soon as possible. Requests submitted too late may not be fulfilled in time.
A separate form must be submitted for each ride needed. For example, if you need four rides, you must complete the form four times.
Once your request is fulfilled, you will receive a text message with your Lyft link latest 48 hours before your trip.
You must download the Lyft app for the ride link to work.
Before Your Trip
Please double-check your Lyft links 1–2 days before each ride to make sure:
The ride date is correct
The pickup and drop-off locations are correct
You received all Lyft links you requested
If anything is incorrect or missing, email sponsorships@commonpower.org as soon as possible.
