Here are all the opportunities we have at Common Power, especially roles where we need volunteers most as we head into the midterms.

BECOME A CANVASS LEAD

We’re looking for passionate volunteers to step up and support our Team Leads in the field. Canvass Leads help organize carpools, distribute turf and literature, support and troubleshoot for Team Leads

If you’re interested in become a Canvass Lead, take our virtual Canvass Lead Certification Training!

  • Learn how to lead a canvass the Common Power way. This hands-on training covers everything from setup and volunteer coordination to field communication and post-canvass debriefs.

  • By the end, you’ll have the tools to confidently lead on trips. Participants can take an optional Certification Quiz to join our pool of certified volunteers eligible for future canvass leadership opportunities. Certification does not guarantee placement, but its the first step.

Rangers & Super Volunteers

The Common Power Ranger & Super Volunteer Program is for volunteers who want to take their involvement to the next level. It’s a way to recognize folks who consistently show up, step into leadership, and help power our fieldwork on the ground.

Rangers and Super Volunteers get access to more opportunities, exclusive merch, and deeper involvement in helping grow the movement alongside other committed leaders and volunteers.

Pins on the Common Power Action App profiles are like badges of honor and a fun way to show off your Common Power volunteer pride. Pins will be assigned by a staff member. Every volunteer has a unique story and journey with Common Power, so we want to make sure that the pins we assign align with that journey.
