Democracy Lobby Week 2023: "People Powered Elections" and "Multi-member Districts"

The first event we’d like to invite you to is a Democracy Lobby Week jointly hosted by one of Common Power's Washington state based partners, Fix Democracy First! This event will be held online February 6-10, 2023.

Planned sessions include hearing about current legislation, learning from democracy experts, getting lobbying tips on how to talk to your legislators, and opportunities to speak with your own legislators. Registration for the event in its entirety is $5 that supports the host’s efforts. Common Power is happy to offer sponsorship to individuals within our network who are interested in attending.

FEBRUARY 8th PROGRAMS:

  • People Powered Elections: Expanding Democracy Vouchers Statewide - 5 pm PDT

  • Multi-member Districts: Using Proportional Ranked Choice Voting for Better Representation - 6:30 pm PDT
