One More Look: How Overturning Roe v. Wade is Impacting the 2022 Midterms

In the Dobbs decision, the US Supreme Court in late June overturned the landmark 1973 Roe v. Wade decision that guaranteed a person's right to an abortion. This ruling has monumental medical, health, and cultural impacts. It also is already is and forever will change American politics. This lecture is a LATE-SEPTEMBER UPDATED LOOK at how the Dobbs decision is impacting the 2022 midterm elections, with likely large effects into the 2024 presidential election. Note: this lecture is part of a "Meet-the-Moment Mondays" series offered by the Institute for Common Power. This series consists of a public education-to-action lecture or conversation hosted by the Institute for Common Power every Monday from August 1 through November 7, 2022.
