This workshop given by experienced CP community member Andrea Cohen has proven in the past to be helpful for CP volunteers who hope to interact more effectively with voters, and even within our own community.
The polarization in our world today calls upon each of us to navigate the
complicated challenges we face with as much grace and skill as possible.
Compassionate Listening core practices are key to helping us do that.
Five core practices provide practical ways for people to connect with a
different “ear” and more compassionate heart to those around them. These
powerful tools are useful in integrating the intelligence of head, heart and
body into opportunities for greater understanding and wise action.
In this basic “Taste of Compassionate Listening” workshop, you’ll learn
skills necessary to bring these practices into your daily life - with family and
friends, within workplaces and communities, and in the political work you’re
committed to.
Andrea Cohen is a Certified Compassionate Listening Facilitator. She has
