Travel Dates: May 15th - 20th in Bakersfield

Team California Primary Election Kick-off: March 24 at 5 pm PST

Randy Villegas

Randy Villegas is proof that you don’t have to water down your values to compete in a toss-up district - you can lead with them. His campaign centers working families: expanding healthcare access, raising wages, and putting everyday people ahead of corporate interests. In a race where a Republican is almost certain to claim one of the two general election spots, it’s not enough to simply have a “D” next to your name. CA-22 deserves a Democrat who will fight relentlessly for the district and deliver real results for working people.

This district was recently remapped as a result of Proposition 50 — a measure passed by voters in California to gain 5 seats in the House. The new 22nd district is majority Latino. This election will attempt to unseat incumbent Republican David Valadao and fulfill the promise of Prop 50.

Take local action with the LA Hub

Common Powered Hubs take political action at both the local and national levels. In their communities, Hubs lead efforts like voter registration drives, ballot initiatives, deep canvassing, and local protests. And when national elections approach, these same volunteers mobilize in key battleground states, knocking on doors and engaging voters in meaningful, face-to-face conversations that drive impact.
