Common Powered Hubs take political action at both the local and national levels. In their communities, Hubs lead efforts like voter registration drives, ballot initiatives, deep canvassing, and local protests. And when national elections approach, these same volunteers mobilize in key battleground states, knocking on doors and engaging voters in meaningful, face-to-face conversations that drive impact.

Southern California was one of the first stops on our journey to build Hubs. But with such a vast and diverse region, we didn’t settle on just one location—we launched two!

  • Hollywood operates on a broader scale, engaging communities across Greater Los Angeles.

  • South Bay is more localized, with a strong presence in the Torrance area

Each location organizes its events tailored to local needs and interests. Collaboration is common in the SoCal Hub! Both locations often team up for major initiatives and larger-scale events.

Joining one location doesn’t limit your involvement, you’re always welcome to participate in activities across both!

July 17

We’re launching a campaign to talk to voters we lost last year in CA-45, one of the most flippable seats in the House and our target for next years’ midterms.

Join us in Westminster, Garden Grove, Buena Park, etc. to listen to voters’ concerns, their top issues, their sense of support for elected officials. This is how we lay the groundwork for 2026.

August - September

Learn how to listen at the doors in preparation of our work in CA-45. In this session, you'll learn the art of deep listening—how to slow down, ask open-ended questions, and create space for voters to share their stories, concerns, and hopes.

These skills are essential for building trust, breaking through polarization, and truly understanding what matters most to the people we’re here to serve!
