Common Power, a national volunteer network, is partnering with the Abdul for Senate campaign to bring out-of-state volunteers into Michigan to knock doors and get out the vote. And we want you on the team.

Common Power creates a curated trip experience for out-of-state volunteers to travel together, lodge, share meals, and maximize their impact in the field. Here are our current available trips (more trips may be added later) for Team Michigan:

Showing up alone means figuring out logistics, strategy, and safety on your own. And often knocking on doors that don't move the needle. Team Michigan with Common Power gives you:
A guided cohort experience: set trip dates, a pre-trip process, and a community doing this alongside you
Extensive training: virtual trainings and team meetings to prepare you before you even arrive
Team Leads on the ground: handling itineraries, carpools, and daily plans for you
Maximum impact: we work directly with the campaign to go to areas with less volunteers, high priority voters, and targeted counties
A curated travel experience: community dinners, political education, and programming that make the visit worth the flight

Common Power led a team of 35 volunteers during the Primary Season. In a short 4 days, we knocked on over 6,500 doors and broke the weekly record for most doors knocked in a single county. We plan to break more records in the general season with you.
