FIELDWORK IN

WI SUPREME COURT ELECTION

We’re heading back to Milwaukee for the Supreme Court (again). Common Power will be working with both Power to the Polls and WisDems, knocking on doors in and around Milwaukee to encourage citizens to vote and participate in the General Election on April 7 for the 10-year term on the Wisconsin Supreme Court. These are TWO SEPARATE TRIPS! If you plan to canvass with friends and family, make sure you sign up for the same trip with the same partner organization.

Trip Dates: April 3rd - 8th

Location: Milwaukee with Power to the Polls, and the South Milwaukee/Oak Creek Area with WisDems

Team WI Kickoff!: Monday, January 26th at 5 pm PST

Judge Chris Taylor

Common Power will be supporting Chris Taylor to expand the court’s liberal majority to a decisive 5–2. Securing this supermajority is essential to building a durable firewall for reproductive freedom and workers’ rights, ensuring fair congressional maps, and safeguarding the integrity of the 2028 election.

In 2020, Chris was appointed to the Dane County Circuit Court, and she was elected to that position the following year. In 2023, Judge Taylor was elected by voters in twenty-four counties to the Wisconsin Court of Appeals, where she currently sits.
