We’re showing up to every US House race in 2025. Houston is an opportunity to not only elect any Democratic leader, but one who will push the envelope. Common Power will be working with the Christian Menefee Team, knocking on doors in Houston to encourage citizens to vote and participate in this special election!

Congressional District 18
Texas is and always has been a crucial state when it comes to any election and this race is no different. Congressional District 18 is a previously held democratic seat but with new redistricting done by Governor Abbott, this seat along with others are at critical levels. This district lies in Harris County, one of the biggest counties in the United States so every vote counts and we will be knocking doors in these communities to get out the vote as much as we can!
We will be supporting Christian Menefee; a native Houstonian who made his name being the youngest and first Black Harris County Attorney. Here’s more information about his campaign as well as his work as a district attorney,
