Common Power will be working with the Dr. Jasmine Clark Campaign, knocking on doors in Georgia’s 13th Congressional District to encourage citizens to participate in the primary and vote. The winner of this primary will represent the district in Congress, making this a critical opportunity to ensure voters have leadership that is present, accountable, and responsive to the needs of the community.

Dr. Jasmine Clark
Dr.Jasmine Clark is a public health scientist, state representative, and community leader from Gwinnett County, Georgia. She is a model for what responsive, accountable leadership looks like. She listens to her community, fights for real solutions, and delivers from expanding access to healthcare to protecting working families. All the while championing people first policies that meet the moment and take on the broken systems that continue to leave communities behind. She’s already proven she can win tough races and is building a campaign that energizes voters across the district, including those who have felt ignored or pushed out of the political process.
She will be facing David Scott, the longtime incumbent, in this primary.
