GEORGIA MIDTERM ELECTION

FIRST TRIP! SEPTEMBER 16 - 21

Common Power supported Dr. Jasmine Clark in the Primary election and knocked on 1,600 doors in Georgia’s 13th Congressional District. We are now heading back to Georgia to canvass for Jon Ossoff and down ballot candidates in the general election.

Georgia has become one of the most important battleground states in the country, but lasting change won't come from television ads or last-minute campaign spending. It will come from organizing. Volunteers will support efforts to reach voters beyond the Atlanta metro area, build relationships in communities that are often ignored, and help elect leaders willing to challenge entrenched power and deliver for working people.

Sen. Jon Ossoff

Born and raised in Georgia, Senator Jon Ossoff is Georgia’s Senior United States Senator.

In the Senate, Jon has applied those skills to expose corruption and abuse in government, including the abuse of children in Georgia’s foster care system, mistreatment of military families by private housing contractors, and civil rights abuses in the federal prison system.

One of those leaders willing to challenge entrenched power and deliver for working people is Jon Ossoff. Throughout his time in office, Ossoff has focused on government accountability, lowering costs for working families, and confronting corruption wherever it exists. His leadership demonstrates that protecting democracy requires more than rhetoric, it requires organizing, action, and a commitment to putting people ahead of special interests.
