Common Power is excited to welcome a new fulltime colleague: Ahmed Baba. From early 2015 CoPo Executive Director Charles Douglas and Ahmed have been doing a weekly podcast on politics, media, and America. All the way back to Day One after Donald Trump’s election in 2016, Ahmed has been immersed in tracking and investigating and understanding MAGA, Donald Trump, Trumpism, and the authoritarianism that they all embody. We need his expertise for the road ahead. Ahmed is also an expert on misinformation and disinformation, and has brought that expertise to our next-gen Action Academy program. And today he has a national presence in our media and political systems on CNN, MSNOW, with a huge Substack following. This special Sunday zoom event is a Q and A with Charles and Ahmed about now and the road ahead.
