Join us on August 6th as Dr. Terry Anne Scott, Director of the Institute for Common Power, provides a lecture on the legacy of the Voting Rights Act of 1965, followed by a conversation with civil rights activist & foot soldier, Charles Mauldin, and NAAM CEO Brandon Bird. Together, they’ll explore how the courage and lessons of the Selma to Montgomery movement continue to shape our communities today.
Hosted in-person at NAAM and streamed online through the Institute for Common Power!
