FIELDWORK IN VIRGINIA

This year, every single seat in the State House + Governor + much more will be on the ballot. Virginia is famously a bellwether state for the following midterm elections. And we can’t let the sludge that is our federal politics distract us from the importance of state and local elections on everyday people’s lives.

VIRGINIA ELECTIONS

We’ve doorknocked with our New Virginia Majority since 2019 and we’re back again. Here’s what we’re doing:

✔ January 3, 2025: Special Election

✔ June 17, 2025: Primary Election

  • Supported candidates Ghazala Hashmi for Lieutenant Governor and May Nivar for VA-57

September 9, 2025: Special Election

  • Electing a Democrat to the empty US Congressional District VA-11. Trip sign up details coming soon

  • Tentative trip dates: September 5-10

November 4, 2025: General Election
