Poder Común is excited to invite you to an evening of learning in community.
We have a very special guest speaker, Dr. Sandoval-Strausz a professor of History at Penn State University, son of immigrant parents, born in NYC.
He teaches courses in Latino studies, urban history, spatial theory, sociability, and immigration. He is a National Endowment for the Humanities Public Scholar and a Distinguished Lecturer of the Organization of American Historians.
At this event Dr. Sandoval- Strausz will be presenting and sharing his knowledge of the patterns of voting in the Latinx community.
