ACTIVE STATE TEAMS
Join one of these State Teams to work in the Primary Election. Since the beginning of the year, Common Power has sent teams to doorknock in NY, TX, NC, OH, WI, PA, MI, and AL.
WHY WE VOLUNTEER IN TEAMS
A State Team is a mini-community of volunteers who work together, laugh together, learn from each other. Trust us, you’re gonna want to experience this election in community.
Volunteers take doorknocking trips organized by State Team Leads to help win elections in critical swing states and races. Team Leads coordinate logistics, communications, and support for volunteers leading up to and throughout the trip.

Our State Teams are multi-generational and multi-racial, reflecting our diverse pool of volunteers. We might come from many differences but we work towards a common purpose together.

“ACTIVE” State Teams have current remote and in-person opportunities and a CP door knocking trip planned by State Team Leads. All states with Waiting Lists will become active in August for work in the General Election.

FIND A STATE TEAM TO DOORKNOCK IN
Common Power select our states of focus for their electoral impact, margin of victory, our relationships with local partners, and potential for long-term investment. We worked in specific states for their Primary Elections: North Carolina, Texas, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Nevada, Washington, and Wisconsin.
We will return to these states for the General Election. In addition, we will work in Arizona, Montana, Michigan, Georgia, Virginia, Maryland, Oregon, California, New York and more.

Plan your fall with us! We do not have exact dates for trips but at least one State Team will be traveling every weekend in October leading up to Election Date, November 5.
Choose a weekend (or more!) and block out Thursday-Tuesday.
