Jessica

Community & Advocacy
Sr. Associate

She/They

Jessica runs the remote side of fieldwork: phonebanks, text banks, and postcarding activity are all identified and managed by her, alongside the Squads program. In addition, she builds and supports the volunteer community through training and community events. Jessica was first introduced to Common Power through Action Academy in 2021, and through the years, took on different roles: crew lead, state team lead, remote coordinator, and now, Fieldwork Associate.

Beyond CP, Jessica graduated from the University of Washington with degrees in LSJ and Sociology, and minors in Anthropology and Human Rights. She worked for Seattle Clemency Project and Washington Innocence Project as a legal assistant where she truly found her drive to support and create change for systematically marginalized and disenfranchised communities. At CP, she’s found her path through electoral work. In her free time, Jessica is committed to line dancing every Monday night and is an avid fan of local breweries!
